What will be taught
We start with an introduction on whittling, different types of knives, knife safety & clear instructions on how to whittle.
The Workshop
Step by step instruction. Whittlers should proceed at their own pace, with short periods of focussed whittling followed by regular breaks, so please bring refreshments and snacks.
Whittling Workshop - Bauble - Level 1
If you would like to hold just one workshop as a taster session we suggest starting with the Bauble. It's the simplest item to start learning the skills of whittling.
Whittling Workshop - Fish - Level 2
A second workshop helps progress and repeat the techniques learnt from level 1.
Whittling Workshops - Owl - level 3
If you're looking for your children to progressively learn and practice a range of whittling techniques, we suggest booking the three workshop.
Each workshop introduces a new set of skills and techniques to master the art of whittling.
