Axe Throwing        Air Rifle       Bushcraft Skills

Axe Throwing Range & Instruction

4 - 6 lane axe throwing range can be set up at your location. Targets, axes and an instructor will deliver an unparalleled experience for you and your teams. We supply different weight axes to try, allow plenty of practice time and then friendly competitions.

Sessions to run.

Drop in or 'Have A Go' sessions are usually short, lasting 15 minutes which allows time to learn the safety and practice throwing. Ideal for very large groups to take part at their leisure.

The 'Viking Berserker' sessions are designed for participants to try all three different weighted axes with sufficient practice times. Friendly competitions to see who has the Berserker within them. Ideal for small groups spending up to an hour on the range.

The 'Lumberjack'. A teams event for multiple groups. Plenty of time given for practice then it's competition time. Points and team knock out challenges until only one team stands alone as the Lumberjack winners. Suitable for large groups split into small groups who can be called to range at various times throughout the day. 

Bespoke sessions can be created, perhaps a mix of the above to suit the client and event.

Costs

Minimum 4 hours (half day) = £400.00 

Maximum per day 8 Hours = £650.00

Consecutive days can be arranged.

Travel distance & time is a consideration and extra costs may be incurred.

Air Rifle Range & Instruction

 2 - 4 lane air rifle range can be set up at your location. All shooting lanes consist of tables and seats with sand bags for support. A selection of targets set out with a variety of difficulty at different distances usually ranging from 8 metres to 30 metres. Safety and rifle handling instruction given by an experienced qualified instructor.

Sessions to run.

Drop in or 'Fairground' sessions are usually short, lasting up to 15 minutes which allows time to learn how to use the rifle safely and shoot 10 pellets. Ideal for very large groups to take part at their leisure.

The 'Shooter' sessions are designed for participants to learn how to cock, load & shoot the rifle safely with plenty of practice time. Friendly competitions to see who can hit the bulls eye. Ideal for small groups spending up to an hour on the range.

The 'Sharp Shooter' is designed to teach the principles of marksmanship, range commands, rifle & range safety. Ideal for small groups spending at least 2 - 3 hours on the range. Advised to book an extra tent range to increase shooters from 4 to 8 adults.

Essential Bushcraft Skills

An experienced instructor will guide you through a variety of key bushcraft skills. All tools, equipment & resources will be provided along with a shelter. This pioneer package is ideal for 14 participants. If larger groups are to be accommodated then extra Pioneer packages are to be added.

Bushcraft skills to choose from include ; 

Whittling and Carving. Knife & other cutting tool skills. To make a variety of camp kit.

Tent pegs, spoons, spatulas, mallets, whistle, pot hangers, 'try sticks' plus creative woodland crafts. Each of these items will take approximately one hour.

Fire Ignition Techniques. Various methods of ignition will be explored using man made and natural materials. Participants will have the opportunity to ignite tinders using friction, solar, electrical, sparks, and percussion techniques. Tinder bundles will be lit. 

Wild Game Food. Backwoods style camp fire cooking consists of making breads, fish on sticks and pigeons. 

Sessions

Have a go Sessions, may include participants dropping in for 15 mins to try ferro rod ignition techniques. Ideal for very large groups to try it at their leisure during the course of a day or half day event.

60 min sessions, repeated throughout the half/full day event. It may include a whittling and carving skills to make one item from above. Tool safety will be taught with step by step instruction to complete an item. Or choose Ignition techniques. Both ideal for smaller groups to be introduced to the world of Bushcraft.

Half day or Full day sessions for small groups up to 14 adults, may consist of a bespoke program from above lists. We will discuss with you which works best for your event or requirements.

Costs

Pioneer Package consist of one instructor, shelter, kit and materials for maximum 14 adults.

Minimum 4 hours (half day) = £400.00 

Maximum per day 8 Hours = £650.00

Extra pioneer packages + £300.00 

Additional Information for all Pop Up Bookings

Consecutive days can be arranged.  

Travel distance & time is a consideration and extra costs may be incurred.

** All pop up bookings are dependant on a safety check and site inspection prior to the event. If a proposed site is deemed safe and suitable no costs will be incurred for the inspection. If a site inspection is considered unsafe and unsuitable after detailed information (google maps etc) has been provided by the client then a small cost will be incurred.
